Australian ski resort Perisher recently donated around 600 jackets and another 600 fleeces for distribution overseas to countries such as Chile, Tanzania, South Africa, East Timor, Papua New Guinea and Nepal.

To keep Perisher’s 400 Snowsports School Instructors in the latest gear, Perisher regularly replaces their uniforms and has been donating old uniforms to charity for many years now.

“This is a great initiative that helps keep the old uniforms out of landfill and provide support to those in need,”  said Perisher CEO Peter Brulisauer.

The charity Pambula Rotary, deliver the clothing to people in countries that need warmth and protection in a high altitude climate.
