With its 410km (257 miles) of diverse ski slopes for all, the 4 Vallées is the largest ski area in Switzerland and a world famous destination. At the centre of this giant ski circuit is Nendaz, the ski village best placed for fast access from the heart of the huge network of skis and runs.
With snow guaranteed from December to April, there’s an incredible variety of slopes including plenty to keep families entertained and beginners progressing, as well, of course, as all that steep, deep powder terrain for which the 4 Vallées is famous.
From Mont-Fort at 3,300m, easily reached by cable car from Nendaz, there are sweeping 360 degree views of the Alps including famous peaks like the Matterhorn. From here you can choose to ski or snowboard back down, take the lift back if you’re not a skier, or perhaps harness yourself on to the zipwire and fly down the mountainside on the amazing Mont4Zipline, the new highest in the world!
