Seven nights at 2,000m. Someone else doing the cooking. Wine on the table, a heated pool next door and the snow-sure slopes of Arc 2000 a short walk from the front door. All you have to do is answer one question.
We’ve teamed up with Skiworld to send one reader and a friend to Chalet Nadyia in Les Arcs this March, and Les Arcs is throwing in the lift passes. In fact, it’s free to enter and takes about a minute.
*Pass Classique, the local lift pass for the Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry ski area. Lift passes courtesy of Domaine de Montagne Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry.

Which ski area is Les Arcs part of?
Closes 23:59 (UK time) on 31 December 2026. UK residents aged 18+. Flights and transfers not included. Full terms.
What’s waiting for you
Arc 2000 is the highest of the Les Arcs villages, and in late March that matters. While the lower resorts start turning to slush, the snow up here holds firm, the slopes climb to the Aiguille Rouge at 3,226m, and the days are long enough for one more run before the lifts close. Les Arcs is also linked to La Plagne by the Vanoise Express as part of the vast Paradiski area, so you won’t run out of terrain in a week.
Then there’s the chalet. Nadyia is about 200m from the nearest lift, with an open-plan living room built around a stone fireplace and a balcony looking straight down the valley. The chalet team also cooks breakfast every morning, there’s cake waiting when you get back, and dinner comes with wine on six nights.
Aching legs? Then the indoor pool, sauna and wellness area at the neighbouring Altitude complex are yours to use too.
The prize is for two adults sharing one room, so pick your ski buddy wisely (they’ll be hearing you snore for a week).
Getting there
The prize covers the chalet and lift passes, so you’ll book and pay for your own flights and transfers. Geneva is the usual gateway because there are plenty of cheap flights from UK airports, and it’s around three hours by road to Les Arcs. Prefer the train? Alternatively, Bourg-Saint-Maurice sits at the foot of the resort, with a funicular up to Arc 1600 and a shuttle on to Arc 2000.
Frequently asked questions
Who can enter?
UK residents aged 18 or over. Your travelling companion must also be 18 or over. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
Are flights included?
No. The prize covers seven nights’ catered chalet accommodation and six-day lift passes for two. So you’ll need to book and pay for your own travel and transfers to the resort.
Can I change the dates?
No. The dates are fixed, so the holiday runs from Saturday 20 to Saturday 27 March 2027.
When will the winner be announced?
We’ll draw the winner at random from all correct entries by 7 January 2027 and then contact them by email. They’ll have seven days to accept.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Both travellers need travel insurance with winter sports cover for the whole trip, because the prize doesn’t include it.

What’s not included
4.4 The prize does not include, and the winner and their companion are solely responsible for arranging and paying for:
- flights or any other travel to and from the resort, including travel to and from the UK airport or station;
- airport or resort transfers;
- ski or snowboard hire, ski school and guiding, and any lift pass upgrade or extension beyond the passes in clause 4.2;

Neither InTheSnow nor Skiworld is responsible for any travel arrangements, or for any delay, cancellation or extra cost connected with them, including missed nights or meals caused by late arrival or early departure.
Dates, changes and alternatives
4.6 The travel dates are fixed and nobody can change them. If the winner cannot travel on these dates, they forfeit the prize and we may select another winner.
4.7 The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. However, the winner may choose their travelling companion, and may change that companion only with Skiworld’s agreement before the companion’s details are confirmed.
4.8 However, if the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, InTheSnow and Skiworld reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
5. Winner selection and notification
5.1 We will choose the winner at random from all valid entries with the correct answer, by a person independent of the competition or by a verifiably random process, by Thursday 7 January 2027.
5.2 We will contact the winner by email using the details given on entry. The winner must reply within seven days to accept the prize and give the names of both travellers. If we receive no reply within that time, the winner forfeits the prize and we may select another winner.
5.3 Once the winner accepts, we will pass their and their companion’s details to Skiworld, who will confirm the booking directly. The winner must provide any information Skiworld reasonably needs, within the time it asks.
5.4 Finally, our decision on all matters relating to the competition is final.
6. Travel, insurance and responsibility
6.1 The winner and their companion must hold comprehensive travel insurance that includes winter sports cover for the full trip. Skiworld may ask for proof of this before travel.
6.2 Both travellers must hold a passport valid for travel to France and meet all entry requirements in force at the time of travel, including any EU entry or travel authorisation scheme. If they do not, they forfeit the prize without compensation.
6.3 Both travellers must comply with Skiworld’s booking conditions and chalet rules, and with the rules of the pool and wellness facilities. Skiworld may also refuse or end the stay of anyone whose behaviour is unacceptable, with no compensation.
6.4 Skiing and snowboarding carry a risk of injury. Therefore, taking part is at the travellers’ own risk and they should only do so within their own ability.
6.5 Nobody can guarantee snow conditions, weather, or the opening of lifts, pistes and facilities. As a result, we will not pay compensation for these.
6.6 If the winner or their companion cancels, does not travel, or leaves early for any reason, they forfeit the prize or any unused part of it, and we will not offer compensation or an alternative.
6.7 Neither InTheSnow nor Skiworld will be liable for any delay, change or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural events, strikes, travel disruption, public health measures or government advice.
7. Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, InTheSnow is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense suffered by the winner or their companion in connection with the competition or the prize. Skiworld’s own booking conditions govern its liability for the holiday.
7.2 However, nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
8. Publicity
8.1 The winner’s surname and county will be available on request by emailing [email protected] within one month of the closing date.
8.2 With the winner’s agreement, we and Skiworld may publish the winner’s first name and county, and photographs or comments from the holiday. Of course, the winner can object to this when accepting the prize.
9. Your data
9.1 InTheSnow Ltd is the controller of the personal data you give when entering. We use it to run the competition and, as set out on the entry form, to send you the InTheSnow newsletter, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. See our privacy policy.
9.2 We will share the winner’s and companion’s details with Skiworld, and with Domaine de Montagne Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry for the lift passes, only so they can provide the prize. Otherwise, we will share other entrants’ details with Skiworld only where they have ticked the separate partner opt-in on the entry form.
10. General
10.1 We may disqualify any entry or entrant we reasonably believe has broken these terms, entered fraudulently, or tried to interfere with the competition.
10.2 We reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances outside our control make this necessary. We will publish any changes on this page.
10.3 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform.
10.4 In addition, any tax or other liability arising from the prize is the winner’s responsibility.
10.5 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
