Our first look at Atomic’s new skiwear for 2026/27, based on Atomic’s own specs and UK prices.
Cold on the first chairlift, roasting by the third run, then scrabbling for another layer when the cloud rolls in over the top station. If mountain weather would just make up its mind, deciding what to wear skiing would be a whole lot easier.
Atomic has clearly sat on the same chairlift. The world’s biggest ski maker has spent 70 years obsessing over what goes on your feet, and its 2026/27 clothing collection brings the same skier-first thinking to what goes on your back. It’s a proper layering system: waterproof shells, insulated midlayers and technical base layers that work on their own or stacked together, so you can tweak your kit through the day instead of putting up with being too hot or too cold.
The headline pieces are the new Revent 3L Jacket and Bib Pants, with a lighter Revent 2L Shell Anorak alongside, all aimed squarely at resort and all-mountain skiing. They look the part too, in rust reds, soft greys and olive greens that feel a long way from the shouty racing colours you might expect from Atomic.
What’s special about the Revent 3L Jacket and Bib Pants?

This is the serious end of the collection. A three-layer shell with every seam taped keeps wind and wet snow on the outside, which is exactly what you want when the chairlift grinds to a halt halfway up in a blizzard. Atomic has cut both pieces with articulated shaping and stretch, so you can drive into a turn or haul yourself out of a deep snow hole without the fabric fighting back, and there’s venting to dump heat when you’re pushing hard.
The bibs are the bit we’re most excited about. A high bib stops snow finding its way into your waistband on a powder day, and there’s a zipped chest pocket for your phone or lift pass. Once you’ve skied in bibs, it’s hard to go back.
Because it’s a shell, you choose the warmth. Pile on insulation for a minus 15 morning in January, strip back to a base layer for spring slush, and the same jacket does both jobs. One tip: try it on over your warmest layers before you buy, and check you can still reach, twist and bend down to do up your boots.
Is the Revent 2L Shell Anorak worth a look?
If full three-layer armour sounds like overkill, the anorak is the fun one. It’s a lighter two-layer pull-on with a helmet-compatible hood, a deep front zip you can yank open when the sun comes out, and a big kangaroo pocket for gloves, snacks and the lift pass you’d otherwise lose.
It’s unisex, so it’s easy to share (or argue over), and it makes most sense for spring skiing, park laps and anyone who runs warm. At £282, it’s also the most affordable way into the Revent range.

What goes underneath?

The midlayers are where a layering system earns its keep. Atomic has insulated, windproof and fleece options, and pieces like the hooded insulated jacket and fleece-lined crew look just as at home in the bar as on the chairlift. Wear one under a shell when it’s bitter, or on its own on a bluebird afternoon.
Base layers finish things off: seamless, four-way stretch, with ventilation mapped to the places you tend to overheat. Some use merino blends, which is good news if you’ve ever spent a chilly afternoon damp from a sweaty morning.
How does Atomic’s skiwear fit?
Atomic cuts the range for a skiing stance rather than for standing still, with pre-shaped panels and seams placed so they don’t rub. There are unisex pieces as well as men’s and women’s fits.
Our InTheSnow view
Atomic makes kit for skiers first, and this collection feels like it. Nothing here is shouting for attention. It’s good looking, well thought out and built around the way a ski day actually goes. If you want one shell to cover a whole season, the Revent 3L Jacket and Bibs are the pair to look at. If you ski mostly in spring or run warm, the anorak is a lot of fun for the money. Start with the shell, then build your layers around how warm you run.
