InTheSnow Magazine has teamed up with Action Outdoors to offer our readers an exclusive skiing holiday in Argentiere – hosted by the Action Outdoors team in Chamonix alongside ski writer Rob Stewart and featuring Emily Sarsfield, Britain’s number one ski cross racer, the week will be full of action as like-minded skiers and snowboarders explore one of the world’s top winter sports regions.

Open to all levels of skier, from beginner to expert, the holiday will focus on quality ski instruction in one of the world’s premier resorts in the Chamonix valley.

You can choose to have ski instruction or not, but the all-inclusive price includes 7 nights full board accommodation with breakfast, a large buffet lunch and a four course evening buffet dinner, 6.5 days ski pass, 6.5 days ski or snowboard equipment hire and evening entertainment. If you choose to take instruction then there’s a variety of options to choose from.

Exclusive InTheSnow Readers’ Ski & Snowboard Holiday

As InTheSnow readers the emphasis will be on having a great time….in the snow. We all love the mountains and we the group will be full of ski and snowboard enthusiasts who want to have a great holiday and enjoy some quality time on the slopes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the UCPA centre in Argentiere and during the evenings, entertainment and activities are available.

A typical day on the mountain will include half day instruction followed by InTheSnow group ski sessions depending on ability levels, with lunch at the UCPA centre in between. During the evenings, there will be lots of social activities for tHose who want to participate. Argentiere is a small village located 10 minutes up the valley from Chamonix and sharing the same five ski areas.

Exclusive InTheSnow Readers’ Ski & Snowboard Holiday

The village has a more personal and friendly feel than its world famous neighbour and is a popular hangout among the more serious skiers. The Mont Blanc Massif provides a stunning backdrop to the valley with some of the most striking alpine scenery to be found anywhere in the world. If you would like to ski the Chamonix valley but enjoy a smaller village atmosphere then Argentiere is the resort for you!

Argentiere accesses the same five ski areas which have made Chamonix a world famous destination. The skiing is varied and vast although definitely biased in favour of the advanced skier.

The off piste/backcountry skiing is what makes the Chamonix valley so special. The depth and variety of lift accessed High Mountain and back country terrain is outstanding including Europe’s longest off pist run, the Vallee Blanche, and the infamous Grant Montets ski area.
