It is now getting back to sunnier weather, although there may be a little more snow at the weekend.

The Grand Massif has received one of the biggest accumulations with 30cm (a foot) of fresh snow in the last 72 hours but most leading French resorts have had at least 10-20cm of new snow.
The Grand Massif also has the deepest snow base in the country at 4.5m but snow depths are extremely good across France.
