Kitzbuhel was the first ski area in the Alps without a glacier to open for this ski season way back in October last year and it’s looking like it will be one of the last to close with plans to keep at least some terrain open until June.
Snow depths at Kitzbuhel remain good at 75-148cm and currently almost all of the resort’s runs are open and all lifts operating.
Temperatures are fluctuating above and below zero and about 10cm of snowfall is expected on Thursday.
