The Icon 95 is a perfect ski for skiers who are comfortable on piste but need some help off piste. It is very stable, which helps anyone who is less confident in crud or powder enormously, giving a sense of security that really allows you to focus on your skiing and improving that technique.
The 95mm waist and double rocker really allow it to float across powder in a hugely enjoyable way. They make turning in the soft stuff incredibly easy, and power through more tough snow and crud.
However, this stability does not mean that the Icon 95 is uncomfortably stiff. While it gives a supportive, solid base, the ski remains lightweight and buoyant enough to be easily manoeuvrable. It responds well and feels lively throughout the turns.
It is also good on piste, with effective grip and great edge hold. It is definitely a ski that lives up to its all mountain label.
The Movement Icon 95 is a great ski on which to develop your technique across the mountain as it is forgiving whilst still rigid enough to be supportive underfoot. It will really boost your confidence on the slopes safe in the knowledge that this ski will not let you down.
Overall this is a very helpful and complimentary ski in all aspects. We would highly recommend this as an all mountain choice for a skier that is mostly drawn to piste, but wants to explore and develop their skills on different terrains.
