The last week of the remarkable 2017-18 ski season is upon us at Avoriaz, the resort is set to close next weekend.
Temperatures are now above zero, just, and the huge snow base has meted a little from its 2-5m peak a few weeks ago, to a still best-this-century 1.8 – 4.8m.
About two thirds of runs remain open and a similar percentage of lifts operating for the final week of the season and there’s a mixture of sunshine and rain showers in the forecast for the last eight days too.
