Ischgl will launch their 2026/27 winter season with Westlife set to headline the Top of the Mountain Opening Concert on 28 November 2026, bringing the band’s ongoing 25‑year anniversary celebrations to the heart of the Tirolean Alps. The performance will anchor a festive opening weekend that combines the first ski turns of the season with one of Europe’s most successful pop groups.
The Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun begins its winter operations on 26 November, giving visitors two full days on the slopes before Westlife take the outdoor stage. Their set will span a career that includes global chart‑toppers, emotional ballads and fan favourites such as You Raise Me Up, Uptown Girl and Flying Without Wings. The concert forms part of the European leg of the Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, which also includes stops in Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Cologne and Zurich.
Across 25 years, Westlife have become one of the most successful pop acts of all time: more than 55 million records sold, 36 No.1 albums worldwide, 14 UK No.1 singles (ranking only behind Elvis Presley and The Beatles) over 3 billion streams and more than 6 million concert tickets sold. Their 2019 reunion sparked a new era of touring, with more than 200 shows in 30 countries and over 1.2 million tickets sold for the Wild Dreams Tour. The band say the anniversary marks “the beginning of a new chapter” as they celebrate with new music and a forthcoming album.

Tickets for the Ischgl concert cost €100 for adults and €62 for children, and double as a full‑day ski pass. The event also coincides with the completion of major lift upgrades at Ischgl with the last of three new D‑Line 8‑seater chairlifts, including the Höllkar C2 opening in 2026, supported by over 1,200 m² of photovoltaic panels.
