Great conditions in Val Gardena where there’s fresh snow but – unlike at many ski areas further west – not so much fresh snow and strong winds that it causes operational problems.
Instead it’s just 5cm of fresh cover in the past few days and the base remains at 25cm to 110cm and all 79 lifts operating with 112 of the 168 runs open.
About 10cm more snow is forecast over the weekend but temperatures should stay low and there’ll be plenty of sunshine too.
