Although the start of the next ski season is still more than six months away, a chalet holiday company says demand for its 26-27 holidays is so strong that it has led it to now put winter 27-28 holidays for the season after that on sale too.
VIP SKI says opening bookings for Winter 27-28, gives its customers the opportunity to secure their preferred chalet, resort and travel dates over 18 months in advance. Although airlines have begun selling flights this far ahead and ski holiday companies have started selling holidays for the next season before the current season has got underway, selling this early is believed to be a first in the ski industry to open so early…
VIP SKI say they have seen unprecedented demand in the past few weeks, which have included the hottest May days on record for parts of the UK, for its chalets and luxury ski hotels spread across four ski resorts in France for winter 2027 and is 50% sold already for winter.
“The record early launch reflects growing demand for premium ski holidays, particularly during peak weeks such as Christmas, New Year and February half-term,” a spokesperson for VIP SKI commented, adding, “(booking early) …offers guests the chance to plan ahead with confidence, lock in the most sought-after chalets and avoid the increasingly competitive rush for availability at peak periods.”
The comp[any says that for returning guests, families and groups who already know where and when they want to ski, booking early offers the widest choice of accommodation, from flagship chalets to flexible family suites. It also ensures the best availability for in-demand extras such as in-chalet childcare, preferred room configurations and key travel dates.
VIP SKI’s portfolio includes properties located across high-altitude Alpine resorts including Val d’Isère, La Plagne, Arc 1950 and Avoriaz, and offer ski-in/ski-out convenience and a fully catered experience. Across the programme, chalets and hotels sit at an average altitude of 1,967 metres, providing consistent conditions from early December through to late spring.
