It is lovely and sunny on most of the ski slopes of Italy at present.
But for some areas in the West of the country that could be about to change with forecasting models predicting anything from 300 to 110cm of snowfall to resorts like Limone, Sestiere and Sauze d’Oulx between Thursday and Saturday.
Here’s a snow report from our friends at Sauze Online
Generally though base depths are good across Italy (up to 4 metres on upper runs at Cervinia), almost all of the country’s ski runs are groomed and open and nearly every lift operating, the sun shining, so it’s just a case of get out there and enjoy for thoe lucky enough to be able to this week.
