Our Saalbach Snow Report and Forecast 11 January 2018 is looking great for those heading to the area this weekend.

In the aftermath of last week’s storm, Saalbach experienced some interesting conditions. Down in the town things looked pretty miserable, with low cloud and grey skies, however up top conditions were absolutely fantastic. Above the clouds, you could experience some amazing views with the clouds hanging in the valley.

Saalbach has also mostly avoided the second batch of extreme weather that has hit the Alps in recent days Currently, the weather is varied, with clouds and some sunshine trying to break through. Tomorrow the clouds will continue, but after this, the sunshine will return. The sun is forecast to stay all the way through to Monday, so Saalbach is looking forward to a fantastic weekend of skiing ahead. Temperatures will remain just below freezing, with a low of -12 degrees (with wind chill) on Tuesday night, when a light dusting of snow will fall.

The night park is also now open, so for those that want to work on their freestyle, you can now do so once the sun goes down! It is open daily (except Sunday) until 21:30 so you can ski to your heart’s content.
