Jet2.com have announced they’ll be offering new direct flight route from Leeds Bradford Airport to Turin in Western Italy next winter.
Turin is close to the huge Via Lattea (Milky Way) region which featured in the 2006 Winter Olympics and offers 400km of piste at resorts including Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx as well as Mongernevre in France. It’s also the closest major airport to Aosta Valley ski areas like Cervinia, Pila, La Thuile and Courmayeur and also to south-eastern French resorts like Serre Chevalier and Puy St Vincent.
Flights will run on Saturday mornings between late December and mid-April.
The new route means Jet2 now operate to five ski destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport, with Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg and Barcelona (Andorra) the other options this coming winter, with over 60,000 departing ski seats on sale.
