Sainte Foy Tarentaise in the French Alps has announced work is currently under way on the construction of a brand new mile-long ski run for the coming season.
St Foy, located between the large ski areas of Les Arcs and Tignes-Val d’Isere has built a reputation for its intimate, uncrowded, powder ski area and high value lift pass.
The new piste in the Marquises area will start from a point at 2425m above sea level and descend 375 vertical metres over its 1500m length to arrive at the junction with the Grand Soliet piste.
It will be a red graded intermediate level piste and is scheduled to be completed in time for the resort’s opening in December.
