Mark Warner has announced the addition of the Mountain Lake Resort, a development of 34 luxurious new ski apartments in the charming Austrian resort of Zell am See, to its 2014/2015 portfolio.
The one- to four-bedroom apartments, which include two stunning penthouses, have floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the lake and mountain views. Triple glazed with underfloor heating to ensure guests stay toasty and warm the decor varies by apartment, with some boasting a traditional Alpine look and others more contemporary. All have high-end Siematic kitchens with integrated appliances and flatscreen TVs.
The Mountain Lake Resort is two minutes’ walk from the City Express ski gondola from which to enjoy the local Schmittenhöhe ski area, as well as the atmospheric medieval centre of Zell.
Guests at the resort can expect the usual Mark Warner level of service including hearty continental and cooked breakfasts, indulgent afternoon teas including fresh baked cakes, and three-course evening meals with wine. For those looking to chill out or warm up, there’s an inviting bar plus a swish sauna and steam room, while younger visitors aged 3–12 can be assured of the famous Mark Warner welcome in the kids’ club and the free-drop in evening crèche.
