Like many ski areas in the Alps Les Arcs enjoyed great conditions in the days before, after and during last weekend with clear blue skies and perfect condition. Its base is a very healthy 110-310cm (that’s over 10 feet of snow lying up top).
However all that is changing now with storm force winds blowing in and up to 1.2m (four feet) more snowfall expected with it over the next four days.,

Currently about half of the area is open and with the snow expected fairly evenly through the week its possible that the centre will be able to maintain this, although if things become more difficult for safe operations they may have to close more areas.
