The snow depth is incredible at Les Arcs as the east holidays begin.
The resort reports that even on lower slopes it’s lying 3.2m (over 10 feet) deep, up top there’s more than 4m (13 feet) – so the rest of the season (and there’s about a month left) looks assured.

Almost all runs (99%) are open and almost all lifts operating.
It has been a most sunny and dry past few days but some snow, if not much, is forecast for the start of the new week.
Temperatures remain well below zero most of the time even though spring is now well and truly upon us.
