This is InTheSnow’s Head Kore Ski Boots Review live from ISPO 2018, where we got to catch up with Head on all their new developments for the 2018/19 season. Head Kore skis were one of the big stories of 2018 and were so popular that Head have now developed the Kore range to include ski boots.

There are two versions of the Head Kore ski boot. The Kore 1 has a 130 flex, a grip-walk system integrated into the base of the boot and a hike/ski mode. It’s a really nice looking boot and is incredibly light thanks to the graphene integrated into the boot, making it a really great choice for freeride or ski touring skiers who really want to explore the mountain. The Kore 1 retails for £550.

The Kore 2 is also made using graphene, but here it is mixed with other materials, leaving the boot slightly heavier. However, the Kore 1 is so light in the first place that even the ‘heavier’ Kore 2 is still pretty light where ski boots are concerned! The Kore 2 has a 120 flex and retails for £450, which makes it a good option for someone who wants a great quality, light, reliable ‘free-touring’ boot but maybe can’t meet the £550 price tag.
