Where you’ll stay in Tignes
Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin sits close to the centre of Val Claret, with serious skiing right on the doorstep and the resort’s five main lifts a walk or short bus ride away. Built in traditional Savoie style, the 51-bedroom hotel has a proper alpine feel inside, plus a heated indoor pool for a few slow lengths (or a lively half hour with the kids) once the lifts close.
Afternoon tea with cakes is waiting when you come off the hill, and dinner is three courses with complimentary wine on six nights of the week.
