With just over a week to go until opening day, conditions look fairly good at Chamonix.
There are no official snow depth stats yet, but there was fresh snow at the start of this week, and more is in the forecast for the start of next week too.
The picture above of snow in town was taken on Monday morning this week, November 12th.
The partial opening of the Grands Montets ski area is planned for November 25th, 2017, depending on snow conditions.
