There’s a fortnight of the ski season left at Chamonix, where some lifts will run until May 1st.
The snow is still lying very deep in most sectors, particularly up high of course, and the spring touring season is in full swing.
There has been the typical mix of weather for this time of year, with mother nature throwing pretty much everything at visitors over the last week.
However it does include some fresh snow – about 20cm of new snow was deposited towards the end of the past week.
