Winter is showing no real sign of giving up its grip on the Banff and Lake Louise.
There has of course been more spring like weather, but there’s also been more fresh snow.
Lake Louise and sunshine are both open in to May, Sunshine with more than a month of the season left to go there. Both have more than 2m of snow lying and all runs open and lifts operating.
Temperatures remain below freezing with about 15cm (6 inches) of snow in the past 72 hours and similar falls expected in the first few days of the coming week.
