It warmed up to near freezing in Val Gardena over the past few days and as a result it has been able to snow a little – there’s been about 5cm of fresh snow in the past 36 hours.
But looking ahead temperatures are set to drop again to double digits below and skies to clear for sunny conditions once again.

About 80% of the region’s 160 or so runs are reported to be open and almost all of the nearly 80 lifts operating, so there’s plenty to keep you busy if you’re lucky enough to be in the Dolomites right now.
The snow base remains at a healthy 50 – 130cm.
