11.01.2019 Mountain Attack, Saalbach Hinterglemm
This Ski Touring Marathon sees over 500 ski touring athletes from all over the world gather for the 21st “Mountain Attack”. This challenge involves conquering 6 mountain peaks over a distance of 40 kilometres and over a difference of 3,000 metres in altitude.

22.–28.02.2019 Freeride World Tour, Fieberbrunn
Once again in 2018/2019, the Freeride Worldtour (FWT) will be stopping in Fieberbrunn. The Freeride Mecca situated in the Kitzbüheler Alps will host the only event in the tour to take place in a German-speaking country. For the eleventh time, the best freeriders in the world will head to the backcountry area surrounding the Wildseeloder – a must-see event, not only for freeride fans. Weather permitting, the fixed date is the 23rd of February but there is a window between 22nd to 28th February for which the contest can take place just in case.
23.–24.02.2019 Freeride Testival
For the sixth time in a row, the Freeride Testival presented by BMW xDrive is taking place in Austria, providing visitors with a perfect weekend of freeride where a number of brands provide their latest freeride equipment to be tested for free. Skiers will be able to participate in various courses and guided tours, exciting side events other highlights including the BMW xDrive shuttle service and the ABS-Airbag Lounge.
