Conditions are generally excellent across Austria with deep snow bases at most ski areas and almost all of the country’s runs open and lifts operating.
There was some fresh snow at the weekend, particularly in the East of the country where Bad Kleinkirchheim and Nassfeld each reported 60-80cm of fresh snow. Smaller falls of 5-20cm at other areas further West.

The deepest snow up on the glaciers has reached 5.6m (nearly 19 feet) at Kaunertal and the Dachstein and even non-glacier resorts like St Anton have over 4 metres of snow lying on upper runs.
It’s looking cold and sunny for the week ahead at most areas with a little snow forecast midweek.
