October UK Premiere For New Ski Movie “Huck Yeah!”

While many of us spent our lockdown binging on ski movies in a bid to feel like we were in the mountains, there’s no denying that a solo viewing has nothing on a cinema full of snow sports fans sharing the stoke for an epic new ski film. This is why we’re so excited that Holmlands are presenting the UK Premiere of Matchstick Productions latest ski movie, “Huck Yeah!” at the luxurious Soho Hotel in Central London on Friday October 2nd, 2020.

“Huck Yeah!” features some of the best skiers in the world doing what they do best on the iconic terrain of some of the world’s most spectacular locations.

Prepare to see athletes such as Hoji, Sam Kuch, Bobby Brown and breakout girl posse “The Blondes,” serve up some segments that are hard charging, insanely skilled and above all, a hell of a lot of fun. From personal action segments to incredible location-based shoots, you’ll see some epic skiing and hear some serious stories.

If the intense lockdowns of the recent year have done anything, it’s remind us how valuable the outdoors are, as well as the ability to spend time outdoors with our friends, having fun and taking on new adventures.

So, if you’re going to see one ski movie in an actual theatre this year, we’d recommend it be this one. It’s the perfect way for snow sports fans to escape from these strange times for a few hours, to enjoy a beer or two among friends and settle in for a fun filled, action packed night of big mountain skiing action.

An actual ski movie premiere, with actual people (socially distanced of course)… what could be better?!

What’s more, the event will also include a raffle with a host of amazing prizes, as well as a very special preview of Holmlands new film “The Revelstoke Diaries”, which we can’t wait to see.

If you want to hear more about “Huck Yeah!”, Holmlands Director Cameron Hall recently sat down for a chat with legendary ski film maker and Director of “Huck Yeah!” Scott Gaffney, which you can listen to on the Holmands podcast here.

Safety Measures at the Event

In respect of government guidelines, safety measures will be of course in place for the special screening. A limited number “Phase One” tickets initially made available to ensure safe social distancing with the theatre.

If and/or when guidelines change, then additional tickets will be made available, with an option to hold a second screening on the same night, once the initial wave of tickets is sold out. This will allow for safe social distancing measures to remain in place but provide two groups to see the film on the same night.  If it is safe to seat everyone in the theatre at the same time, the organisers plan to do so.
