Swiss ski centres are looking much more like they should after the snow of the past few weeks.
Snow cover is still not what many would like (the base at Wengen is till only reported to be 40cm) but in most cases there’s now good snow cover down to resort level. The deepest snow around 1.3m/ 4 feet deepest resorts like Saas Fee.
Like most of the Alps, temperatures have been generally very cold and skies clear, so other than the occasional overnight dusting, there’s very little fresh snow this week, and it’s currently looking like it will be similar next week too.
