We’ve all grown used to pop-up shops, but a pop-up mountain?
Officially Mount Snow, a friendly resort in southern Vermont ceased to exist for Saturday 22nd March only.
For one day only Mount Logan was born, with its own website, lift tickets and trail maps which will surely become souvenirs in the future.
Why? Local girl Devin Logan took the silver medal in Slopestyle at the Sochi Olympics.
Mount Snow, where she began skiing aged two, was determined to mark her triumphant return in style:
Mount Logan featured a six seater hooded chair, the largest separate area terrain park in the Eastern USA, and skiing on three faces of the mountain – as indeed does Mount Snow now it’s back in position.
