Two time Winter Olympian Ben Kilner has been confirmed as the special guest at Snozone’s Sochi Inspired Weekend which takes place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th February 2015 at the company’s Castleford and Milton Keynes indoor snow centres.
One year on from the start of the Sochi Winter Olympics, the British team snowboarder, who originates from Aberdeen, will be on the judging panel at Snozone Castleford to see the country’s up and coming talent ride in a big freestyle competition at 8pm on Friday 6th February. He will offer finalists personal feedback, with the top riders in with a chance of winning cash prizes. Ben will also be doing a meet and greet and signing in the restaurant area from 6pm.
The following day at Snozone Milton Keynes, Ben will be giving out coaching tips to rising stars on the slopes between 1.30 – 3pm, after a meet and greet session in the restaurant area at midday and a signing at 3pm. Saturday’s action at the Snozone Milton Keynes’ Sochi Inspired Weekend will also include a ‘Beat the Pro’ slalom course to test your speed against the best or try your hand at the Moguls and extra freestyle features, with expert coaching available all day.
The Sochi Inspired Weekend, which is being supported by Snowsport England, will start at 6pm on Friday 6th and run throughout Saturday 7th February at Snozone Castleford and Snozone Milton Keynes.
