With hundreds of miles of slopes to enjoy you need plenty of places to stop for a break and an excellent lunchtime meal with local cuisine to enjoy created on site while you take in the fantastic views, or get warm by the fire.  Fortunately there are lots of great choices in the slopes above Nendaz for mountain dining.

Restaurant of Combatseline, located at 2,200m at the top of the Combatseline chairlift is a popular stop with a wide terrace for sunny days and family-friendly menu and Chez Caroline,  located in Siviez at the bottom of the slopes, with lightwooden décor giving a feeling that’s spacious, light and airy as you enjoy the great food is another.

Cabane de Balavaux, located in the middle of the slopes in the Tracouet area, is a must-stop-at restaurant, surrounded by some of the oldest larch trees in Europe and offering regional cuisine from local produce.

Another is Le Tipi, located in the middle of the slope of the Plan du Fou at Siviez.
