Neilson claims to be the only ski holiday company that offers guests over 18 free ski guiding and coaching throughout the season from fully qualified instructors – the Neilson Mountain Experts. The service is available exclusively to guests staying in any Neilson Mountain Collection chalets, hotels or chalet hotels throughout Europe, which are each exclusive to the company.
The new Neilson Hotel Dolomites Inn in Penia di Canazei is the first Neilson Mountain Collection property in the Dolomites. With a bus stop just outside the hotel, guests can quickly reach the brand new gondola in neighbouring Alba accessing the Dolomiti Superski area and the Sella Ronda circuit. The hotel features a hot tub and sauna and a bar with wood-burning fire.
In Andorra The Hotel Bruxelles in Soldeu, located in the centre of the resort, a few minutes’ walk from the gondola, has also joined the Neilson Mountain Collection, as has the 15-person Neilson Chalet Ruby in Les Deux Alpes. Previously a farm cottage and made from local stone, its located 300m from the high-speed Diable chairlift and resort centre.
“Neilson are seeing a trend develop around the types of ski holidays consumers are considering, which suggests a reaction to external factors such as economic uncertainty. The most popular products are now the Neilson-run Mountain Collection Hotels, Chalet Hotels and Chalets where value added offers such as half price lift passes are currently available,” said the company’s managing director David Taylor, adding,
“The Neilson Mountain Experts ski guiding and coaching service is also included and we’re also including free wine with meals at the Chalet Hotels. This suggests that those shopping for a ski holiday are looking for a more inclusive holiday package to reduce the amount they allow for spending money once in the mountains.”
Guests who book any Neilson Mountain Collection hotel chalet hotel or chalet by 31 August can also pre-book their lift passes for half the price, saving up to £115 per person and the ciompabny is also offering a £50pp low deposit until the end of August too.
