VIP SKI wines are selected by their Master Sommelier, Xavier Rousset, who in 2002 became the youngest Master Sommelier in the world. For this exclusive wine tasting holiday, Xavier will join guests in Val d’Isère to share his passion and offer his expert advice.
Based in the VIP SKI’s Aspen Lodge Suites right in the heart of the village and only 250m from the lifts and nursery slopes, each chalet is entirely independent with its own living and dining area and a dedicated chalet host. There are also three chalets with private hot tubs. The main reception lounge has an open fire, giant cinema screen, pool table, complimentary internet screens, draft beer and coffee bar, plus three communal hot tubs on the terrace to the rear of the property.
What’s more, after your enjoyable week in the Alps, Xavier exclusively invites you to a wine tasting evening featuring some surprising New World wines in his highly acclaimed ‘’28-50’’ bar and restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, London. After the Mayfair wine tasting there is also a dinner at which to sample some of Executive Chef Ben Mellor’s delicious cuisine. Ben changes his menus regularly and Mayfair diners can look forward to classic French bistro-style dining.
Commencing 8 Feb 15 and priced at £1,269pp the wine week includes two tasting evenings, platinum service dinner on one evening as well as flights, transfers and catered accommodation plus the dinner and wine tasting evening at ‘’28-50’’ bar after the holiday on a date to be confirmed.
