It has been a snowy week in Kitzbuhel although it has not seen the huge snowfalls that some parts of the Alps a little further south have.
Instead there’s been a regular 5cm a day building to 15cm/6 inches of fresh snow in the last 72 hours. More moderate snowfall is expected later this week.

Conditions are great though with the fresh snow on the 10-70cm base.
About 40 of the 50 lifts are operating And around half of the 60 runs are groomed and open.
Temperatures are well below freezing keeping things fresh.
