Conditions remain good, on the whole, in Kitzbuhel with the flagship event of the season, the world famous Hahnenkamm race, only a few weeks away.
There was fresh snow at the end of last week and the resort’s base is now 30-102cm, with almost every run open and nearly all lifts operating normally.
But that said Kitzbuhel has announced most of its facilities are closed today due to winds of up to 100kph.
It has been mostly dry the past few days but temperatures have remained generally low and small amounts of fresh snow are expected towards the end of the week.
