Heliski Livigno – For A Limited Time

Livigno, the duty-free, high-altitude Italian resort is offering comparatively low-cost heliskiing for a limited period.

Choppers are taking off from near the Carosello 3000 and Mottolino refuges until Maarch 3rd initially offering great panoramic views over the valleys and peaks that make up this beautiful area known as Little Tibet. Adrenaline filled descents via the Val del Monte and Val delle Mine peaks will begin with open powder fields followed by tree skiing through the trees above the village.

Two heli drops start from €255 per person with the Alpine guides of Livigno who’ll provide participants with avalanche transceiver, shovel and probes will be provided for the day. The minimum group size is 8 people and heliskiing is offered only until 3rd March 2013.

Heliski Livigno (+39 0342 052240; [email protected]) also offers a complete holiday package including a heliskiing tour with two freeride descents accompanied by professional guides, 5 day lift pass and an apartment for 4 people, with a minimum stay of 7 nights with prices starting from 690€ per person.

If you don’t want to heliski but do want to take in the stunning scenery from above, the company also offer panoramic flights around the area  from €75 per person based on 6 passengers.
