This Saturday, 10th October, Skiplex in Reading will be encouraging people who have never skied before, or those who are feeling a bit rusty, to give it a go as part of Snowsport England’s national skiing and snowboarding roadshow ’30 Days of Snowsport’.
Running throughout the day, the Snowsports Taster Day will offer FREE 15 minute taster sessions for all levels of skiers or snowboarders, including beginners. The day is the perfect chance to give a skiing a go and try something new for the winter.
The sessions will be a fun introduction to skiing and the ideal first step for those thinking about learning to ski or just wanting to give it a go. Skiplex’s endless, fully adjustable slope means it is an ideal place for people learning to ski, and all sessions will be run by fully qualified instructors
Sessions can be booked by calling Skiplex or just turn up on the day (subject to availability), and everyone taking part will be fitted with skis and a helmet if required, for free.
Alongside other events around the country, Skiplex’s 30 Days of Snowsport Taster Day is part of a nationwide roadshow aimed at getting more people into skiing and snowboarding. ‘30 Days of Snowsport’ is touring the country’s ski slopes until 25th October giving people a taste of skiing and snowboarding and getting them excited about the winter season.
