The Scott Superguide 88 W 2018 is the perfect all adventure ski for the woman who really wants to expand her horizons on the mountain this year.

This a fantastic lightweight touring ski that can be used for all mountain skiing as well. The Scott Superguide 88 W is a great option for someone after a good touring or lightweight ski on which to start venturing into some off piste, but still want to be able to ski the resort without sacrificing performance.

The lightweight feel of the Scott Superguide 88 W makes it feel very lively under foot, with a great fun nature.

On this ski it is easy to initiate your turns with a lovely light and agile feel, but give it a bit of speed and it’ll also be stable and secure. It’s a great ski to enhance your confidence on the mountain, keeping you well grounded across varying terrains and at varying speeds.

Whether you’re skinning or using these as your resort ski, the edge hold on the Scott Superguide 88 W is very impressive. When the terrain gets icy and steep on your traversing on a tour, you need a ski that you can depend on to hold you on an edge – these will not let you down. However, this is a ski that is quite stiff, so you do  need to put a lot of power through the front of the ski to get a good turn with the best edge hold.

Scott Superguide 88 W's 2018 Ski Review

As this ski is very versatile, it’s a good option for someone who may be buying their first pair of touring skis. If you want to explore your options with ski touring but also don’t want to completely sacrifice the piste, the Scott Superguide 88 W is a good choice. However, it does still demand quite a bit of power and technique from the skier, so it is definitely best suited to the advanced skier.
