The Scott Black Majic 2018 still has to be one of the best piste skis on the market, giving an incredibly consistent, energetic performance all over the mountain.

With only the topsheet updated for 2018, the Scott Black Majic is a ski that remains a lot of fun. A cross between a sports car and a 4×4, this is a ski that will play with precision over any terrain. For a piste ski, the Black Majic is surprisingly good off piste, with good buoyancy over softer snow. If the powder suddenly hits, you won’t be left behind – on this ski you can enjoy the soft stuff with the best of them.

Open it up on piste and you’ll have an even bigger grin as you find you can go from long turns to short turns and everything in between at the flick of a switch. The 3D radius means that it can transition from short to long radius turns effortlessly, so you can really ramp up your skiing. So responsive, it’s a lot of fun to take onto the mountain.

Scott Black Majic 2018 Ski Review

It is really stable at speed and super quick edge to edge so you can get yourself out of danger easily. Perfect for those who want to go a little faster or ski with a bit of explosive power every now and then. This is a ski that keeps you feeling at your best all day long, so you can really enjoy your time on the slopes. Smooth, precise, grippy and damn right fun, it will be a definite hit again this season.

The Scott Black Majic 2018 is an extremely lively ski that needs a high level skier to get the most out of it. While intermediate skiers will enjoy this ski, advanced to expert skiers will be able to reap the most benefits from it. If you’re looking for a fantastic piste ski that is versatile enough to never hold you back wherever on the mountain you want to go, the Scott Black Majic is the ski for you.
