This Blizzard Sheeva 9 2019 Ski Review comes from ISPO 2018, where we got to take a look at Blizzard‘s new skis for the 2018/19 season.

The Blizzard Sheeva 9 is a brand new addition to the hugely popular Sheeva ladies series. At 92mm underfoot, it means that the range now offers a greater variety of waist widths, allowing you a lot more choice underfoot.

The 92mm width means that while it’s a freeride ski that wants to venture off the beaten track and explore the mountain, it also is sure to give a fantastic performance on-piste. Very versatile, it has the credentials to handle anything you throw at it and if its big sister, the Sheeva 10, is anything to go by, the Blizzard Sheeva 9 is sure to be a very popular freeride choice.

With a Titanal plate running throughout and a full wood core, it’s sure to be a hard charging, powerful ski. It’s designed for upper intermediate to expert skiers, so will probably be a little too much to handle for less confident skiers, but if you are an adventurous skier keen to rip up the mountain, this could definitely be the ski for you. Poppy and playful, yet still with great stability and power underfoot, it’s the perfect combination for fun-loving freeride skiers.
