Armada Victa 97 Ti 2018 Ski Review

The Armada Victa 97 Ti is a strong ski made for women who charge. Stylish, energetic and versatile, it allows you to take control and go wherever the snow takes you this winter season.

A 97mm waist and partial twin tips make the Victa 97 Ti a lot of fun both on and off piste. It’s a powerful ski across terrains, but it manages to still maintain a playful agility that we really enjoyed.

With the famous Armada Comp Series base, it keeps you ahead of the crowd with a speed that the more confident expert skier will love.

It charges easily through crud and rougher snow thanks to the addition of the Titanal and carbon-Kevlar struts. However, while this ski eats up chopped up snow with ease, the metal top sheet means it’s slightly less adaptable to different turn sizes and terrain.

Though it doesn’t have the same ‘wow’ factor as some other freeride skis we have tested, the Armada VIcta 97 Ti has got good, reliable qualities in each area. On piste, the edge hold is impressive, allowing you to really get stuck into your turns. The stability provided by the metal layers comes into play well at this point too, giving you confidence to attack the slopes to the best of your ability.

We also absolutely love the design on this ski, which is perfect for a girl that wants both style and skills. It also helps that this ski comes at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend the Armada Victa 97 Ti for an expert female skier looking for a new toy that will help you push yourself across the mountain.
