Conditions remain good in France with the big snowfalls earlier in the year still meaning there are deep bases from top to bottom at most French resorts and that ski areas can open all, or almost all of their runs and have all, or almost all, lifts operating.

The big issue this week is cold, with the Siberian front bring temperatures of around -20 to -30 to ski areas in the French Alps
As it warms up a little later in the week more snow is forecast for the Pyrenees and the Alps with the heaviest snow -perhaps as much as 50cm by Saturday in some area, at more southerly resorts.
