Europe’s largest gay winter sports and music festival will return to Avoriaz in the French Alps next spring from 19th to 26th March, 2016.
The Gay Ski Week festival, which has been running for eight years, keeps getting bigger and bigger having grown from 150 participants at the first even in Solden, Austria in 2008 to around 1,000 last winter, flying in from their homes in more than 50 countries around the world.
The event’s popularity is being put down in part to the superb skiing and boarding offered by Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil, and in part to the sensational parties, fun events and spa sessions organised through the week.
For the 2016 Gay SkiWeek participants can look forward to ‘signature nights’ themed on Erotica, Snowball, Wig Party & the Pool
Artists scheduled to perform include “Crazyvores” and “Bear Drop” from France, “Beyond” from the UK and “Revolver” from Germany, who will all be hosting nights of their own.
On the decks the crème de la crème of DJ’s are promised including Pagano, Dani Toro, Oliver M, Gonzalo Rivas, Paul Heron, Danielle D’Alessandro and DJ RV, Manue G.
Cabaret Artists catering for every taste are also in the line-up with themes including Seductive Burlesque, Broadway Legends, House Music Diva’s, Comedy Queen’s, Magicians and Spectacular Drag Acts.
