The UK’s leading ski tour holiday operator Crystal have officially launched their 2014-15 programme, but have done something a little different with their brochure this year, presenting it instead as a ski holiday guide book, ’Your Guide to the Mountain’
The 236 page book covers Crystal’s 135 ski resorts worldwide and contains large easy-to-read piste maps, at-a-glance highlights and colourful photos, as well as insider tips from Crystal’s in-resort staff.
As with a normal brochure the guide contains details of Crystal’s many accommodation and flight options.
The guide also provides advice on different holiday types (beginners, groups etc) and talks through options for pre-booking ski hire, ski school tuition, lift passes and the company’s ‘hotel credit’ spending money offers.
Crystal has five new resorts this winter, including La Massana in Andorra, linked to nearby Arinsal on the VallNord pass; Maria Alm part of the Hochkönig ski area in Austria with around 125km of piste to explore; Nauders, nestled on the borders of Austria, Italy and Switzerland – ski three different countries from this Tirolean-styled resort; little Salla in Finland and Kronplatz at the heart of the Italian Dolomites with easy access to the Sella Ronda ski circuit – one of Europe’s largest ski areas.
There are also seven new flight routes, from Bristol to Innsbruck for Austrian resorts; Edinburgh to Toulouse for Andorra; Gatwick to Plovdiv for Bulgaria; Manchester to Kuusamo for Finland; Southampton to Chambery for France; Bournemouth and Cardiff to Geneva for France and Switzerland.
