Crystal Ski Holidays has added the Austrian resort of Hopfgarten to its programme for winter 2019/20.

Part of the huge SkiWelt area, one of Austria’s three biggest ski regions with more than 285km of piste, this traditional Austrian village is just over an hour’s transfer from Innsbruck and only an hour and a half from Salzburg.

Crystal are offering a choice of two hotels in the village; The Sporthotel Hohe Salve which has a big emphasis on wellbeing, with a huge outdoor pool, sun terrace, sauna, spa and gym and The Familotel, popular with families, which offers half board for adults but children are upgraded to all-inclusive with all bookings.

There are family rooms and kid’s clubs for all ages in The Familotel, which also provides everything  children and infants may need such as milk, nappies and pushchairs. The Cinderella spa is popular with both children and adults and there is also a panoramic indoor pool, cinema room. The hotel also offers free ski storage by the lifts and the nursery ski slopes are on the hotel’s doorstep.

Hopfgarten is the second new destination for 2019-20 from Crystal, the UK’s largest ski holiday company. Earlier this summer they announced holiday packages to the Italian ski area of Drei Zinnen, which is German for “Three Peaks” and also known in Italian as the “Tre Cime di Lavaredo”  situated in the East of South Tyrol, to the north of Cortina and Venice.
