It has been a sunny for much of the past week in Chamonix but temperatures are reported to be currently well below zero and likely to stay so for the rest of this week.
Some fresh snow is in the forecast too but the amount expected has declined a lot to just a few centimetres.

Different ski sectors of the Chamonix ski valley will be closing down for the season over the next few weekends although some expect to stay open in to the start of May.
Snow depths appear to be very good although the lift company has not reported some stats all season long. Most lifts are still operating and runs groomed and open too.
