Conditions remain mostly excellent in the Chamonix Valley
After a dry week or so it has been slowing slightly over the past few days and the snowfall is expected to continue through to Monday, on and off, adding up to about 10cm in total on average.
The avalanche danger remains at 2 on the scale of 5 at present however and temperatures remain very low, so the fresh sow should stay fresh longer.

Almost all lifts are operating and almost all runs open.
Temperatures range from zero in the valley where the base depth is 40cm to -15C at the top, where the base depth has not been measured (or at last published) since before the huge snowstorms of mid-January
