So that should lead to an even deeper snow base than the current 80 – 220cm, already a very healthy figure for the start of the season.
All 47 lifts in the Valley are running and 74 of 86 runs are open for New Year week.
Freeriders may need to be patient accessing Chamonix’s famous off piste terrain however as the avalanche danger level is unsurprisingly up at or near to maximum.
