Charlie Guest, one of Great Britain’s most promising Alpine ski racers, has taken the Australia New Zealand Cup Giant Slalom Title.

The final race of the series last Saturday was cancelled due to bad weather after the first run, when Guest, already leading the series overall, was leading.  The second was re-arranged for Sunday but heavy rain and fog meant the race could not go ahead then either, meaning Guest was crowned as ANC Giant Slalom overall title winner, taking the ANC yellow bib.

“I am so happy to have won the yellow bib for the ANC GS overall title,” said Charlie, “Having start bib 31 in the Europa Cup will be a massive advantage. I have made good improvements with GS this summer, so hopefully I can keep this going throughout the European season.”
